More than just a place to live
Supported Living is about independence, choice and belonging. Each person we support has their own tenancy — a place that is genuinely theirs. We provide personalised support that fits around them: from a few hours a week, to around-the-clock care, depending on individual needs.
We work closely with families, Social Workers and local authorities to make sure the right support is in place — and that it changes as people grow and their needs evolve.
Who it is for
Is Supported Living right for you?
Supported Living at Kisharon Langdon is for adults who:
- Have a learning disability, autism, or both
- Are ready to live, or already live, in their own home in the community
- Have — or are applying for — a care package through their local authority
- Want a Jewish environment and community connections built into their daily life
Not sure if this is the right service? Our How to Access Services page explains the referral process and how your Social Worker can help.
How it works
Your route into Supported Living
Contact your Social Worker
Your Social Worker is the starting point. They will assess your needs and help apply for a care and support package from your local authority.
Get a care package in place
Once a package is agreed, your Social Worker will look at suitable providers. You can request Kisharon Langdon as your preferred provider.
What daily life looks like
No two people’s experience is the same — and that is the point. Support plans are built around what matters most to each person: their routines, interests, relationships and goals.
Day-to-day life might include:
- Support with cooking, cleaning and household tasks
- Getting to work, volunteering, or community activities
- Staying connected to family, friends and synagogue
- Personal care, where needed
- Managing money and appointments with confidence
- Celebrating Shabbat, Chagim and Jewish life
