Supporting people into meaningful employment

Our employability programme helps people we support to gain confidence, develop workplace skills and access paid or voluntary employment. Through partnerships with local businesses and roles within Kisharon Langdon, people can contribute, grow and feel proud of the work they do.


Pathways into employment

Thanks to the generous funding from Wohl Legacy, our vision for expanding our employment provision further has become a reality with the establishment of The Wohl Employability Programme for Adults with Learning Disabilities: a London-based service providing specialised support pre-employment, in employment and a pathway for skills education, training and opportunities into paid or voluntary roles.

Chaim Dovid has found independence, purpose and pride in a job where his voice matters.

Chaim Dovid has been part of Kisharon Langdon for 16 years. As a Supported Living tenant, he lives independently and travels to work on his own. Through Kisharon Langdon’s employment services, Chaim Dovid secured a job at Ellern Mede Clinic, a specialist centre for people with eating disorders. His job entails training NHS staff through the Oliver McGowan programme - using his lived experience to improve care for people with learning disabilities…
